Socialisation walks

Do you feel your dog has missed out on socialisation during lockdown? Do you want your dog to meet other dogs in a safe, controlled environment? Or do you struggle to meet up with other dog owners?
My socialisation walks can help with these issues and many more. Three times per month we meet at The Dog Orchard secure dog field in Grundisburgh for a safe, controlled walk.

Dogs will walk near eachother interacting in a positive way. On etering the fiels you will be told how to introduce dogs in an appropriate way to avoid any conflict. Once inside the field you make the most of the space available. During the walk an instructor will observe all dog body language and feedback will be given if needed.

Socialisation is one of the most important things you can help your dog with and sadly too many people think it means letting their dog off lead to constantly play. These walks will help teach your dog impulse control, good manners and that they don’t have to interact with every dog they see as not all dogs are friendly.

All dogs must remain on lead for these walks and these walks are not suitable for reactive dogs. If you are unsure whether these walks will be suitable for you and your dog please fill in a contact form or Email: info@theipswichdogtrainer.com and we can discuss your options.
