Loose Lead Walking

Classes and workshops for summer 2023 now available!

Do you have a puppy that has no lead training? Is your adolescent dog pulling towards distractions? Maybe your adult dog needs to go back to basics? Or you have a rescue that has never been introduced to lead walking before? All of these circumstance impact your everyday life as a dog owner and can make fun dog walks rather tiresome.

Leanne has been a guest speaker for Dog Training College and has even written a crash course all about loose lead walking. We can exclusively share all of her techniques in our classes and workshops.

During the classes and workshops you will learn a variety of techniques and exercises to help your dog walk nicely on the lead. We also discuss equipment (the good and the bad) as well as showing you how to use it. We also believe that all dogs and owners are different which is why we teach such a wide range of methods. This means you can choose the right things for you and your dog.

Loose lead walking workshops are 4 hours split in to 2 x 2 hour blocks. Workshops are held at The Dog Orchard secure dog field in Grundisburgh. Classes are held in either Grundisburgh, Kesgrave or Ipswich and run for 4 weeks.

Your dog will be required to have a collar, short fixed lead, and high value rewards for every session.
